Review by hotel critic
The room, with its double aspect and two balconies offering breathtaking views of the gorge and Puente Nuevo Bridge, was a true gem. the spaciousness and comfort of the bed provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind after exploring the ancient Moorish medina and the Alameda del Tajo. The exceptional staff were friendly and competent, ensuring our every need was met with efficiency and warmth. the breakfast spread was varied and plentiful, with hot options cooked to perfection upon request. We dined at the restaurant, indulging in local delicacies like rabo de toro a la rondena and almond cheese, all expertly prepared with fresh mountain produce. One highlight was the problem with an air-conditioning unit emitting an unpleasant smell, promptly rectified by the responsive housekeeping team. the architecture of the hotel, from the high ceiling entrance hall to the relaxing dining area, exuded a sense of grandeur while maintaining a cozy atmosphere that made us feel at home. As a Spanish chef, I appreciated the commitment to Andalusian cuisine at the Parador, showcasing the best gastronomy from the region. Don't miss out on a copa de vino tinto de Ronda to complement your meal and enhance the overall experience.
